The Mountain Party welcomes recently removed Jefferson County Commissioner Jennifer Krouse and all other true patriots who have grown tired of former President Trump’s lies and policies that harm the workers of West Virginia. We are happy to see that Krouse must have had a change of heart and is instead embracing core Mountain Party values like a higher minimum wage, banning so-called “right-to-work” laws, and the elimination of corporate tax breaks, all of which keep hard-working West Virginians in a cycle of poverty. As hard workers ourselves, we look forward to not only helping her reform the actions that led to her dereliction of duty, but also in educating her on the other benefits of a progressive stance, such as good paying jobs through green industries, better representation through ranked choice voting laws, and supporting all Americans, regardless of their race, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation. Additionally, should the Mountain Party be permitted to fill her now abandoned seat on the commission, we look forward to our representative providing fair and honest leadership at the local level. We encourage all Mountain Party members in good standing to seek out local offices in their local areas so as to truly have a government of the people, by the people, and for the people, not just the out of state carpetbaggers who have plundered this great state for so many generations. Rise up, West Virginia!
